Education documents, issued in India, need to be attested first by the
Ministry of Education of the state from where the degree was obtained,
and then by the Ministry of External Affairs of India. The address of
the External Affairs Delhi office is Consular Section, Patiala House,
Tilak Marg, near India Gate. Other offices of the Ministry of External
Affairs are in Chennai, Guwahati, Hyderabad and Kolkata. Attested
documents are to be submitted in UAE Embassy from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm,
Monday to Friday. Rs. 1500/ is the fee per certificate in cash, and
the document would be returned back after two working days, between
2:00 pm and 3:00 pm. In case of urgency, the document can be returned
back on the same day by paying Rs. 750/ extra, per certificate in
cash.
Other certificates like marriage, birth, experience, affidavits, FIRs
of lost passports, commercial documents, etc. need to be attested by
the Ministry of External Affairs of India. The rest of the procedure
remains the same. The fee for the commercial documents depends on the
matter and the fee for the invoice varies with the Invoice value.
